ZONING HEARING BOARD - PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will have a meeting in TOWN HALL, 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA, on Wednesday June 22, 2011 at 7:00 PM for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.

1. 2017 Stefko Boulevard
Appeal of applicant Anna DiConstanzo for a change in operating hours at a day care center which was granted a Special Exception to operate in December 2008. [Articles 1312.02(a)(1), 1308.02(c)(1), 1306.02(c)(2) and 1325.07].

2. 2158 Drury Lane
Appeal of owners Stephanie and Brian Bertsch for a side yard setback dimensional variance to construct a 4-season patio room on a corner lot. [Article 1305.03, Table A-1, 1325.06]

3. 702 Hawthorne Road
Appeal of owner Cityline Construction for a Special Exception to expand an existing non-conforming restaurant, including outdoor seating. A variance for off-street, off-premises parking is requested, as there is no space for on-premises parking. Approval for an additional 6 off-site parking spaces are being requested for the additional outdoor seating area (32 total required; 40 provided). 4. 64 W. Spruce Street
Appeal of owner Nicholas Bozakis for an Interpretation that the proposed use and structure is a Single Family dwelling unit on the second floor with 5 garages on the first floor—2 for the residence and 3 for rental purposes. In the alternative, a Special Exception approval for a Commercial Garage with one apartment is requested. Applicant requests dimensional variances from the Table of Area, Yard and Building Regulations as follows: Required width 40’ – proposed 30’; side yard setback required 6’ – proposed 2’; rear yard setback required 20’ – proposed 6’; min. lot size 4000 SF – proposed 2465; max. bldg. coverage 35% - proposed 58%.
