Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet in Town Hall 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA, on Wednesday, October 25, 2006 at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.

1. 518 Broadway
Appeal of Andrea Dority for a special exception to operate a 24 hour group day care facility in the home and a variance from the off street parking requirements. (Articles 1311.02.c.3, 1319.01.a.28, 1325.07, 1325.06; required parking for day care – 2 spaces, proposed - 0)

2. 37 E. Garrison Street
Appeal of Christopher Luck for a dimensional variance from the sight visibility triangle where a driveway intersects a public street to install 2 parking spaces on the property. (Required distance – 8’ triangle, Proposed – 0’ west side, 2.5’ east side, Article 1318.06.b, 1325.06)

Appeal of Bethlehem Area School District for a variance to extend the use of the temporary modular buildings for one (1) year for an alterative educational program which includes high school level, and a variance from the required number of parking spaces, and a variance from the parking design standards and screening for the temporary off-street parking lot. (Required number of parking spaces for a high school level-100, proposed-33, required parking space depth – 19’, proposed – 17.5’; required aisle width – 25’, proposed – 21’, proposed screening – none. Appeal of the Bethlehem Housing Authority for a special exception to construct an addition and convert the existing garage for the expansion of the lawful non-conforming office space. (Allowable expansion – 50%, proposed – 21.1%, Articles 1309.02, 1323.04.a, 1325.07)
