Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet in Town Hall 10 E. Church Street, Bethlehem, PA, on Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at 7:00 PM, for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR AT THE MEETING

1. Southeast Corner of High and Greenwich Streets
Appeal of B. Land Company for a dimensional variance from the required lot depth to create a 4 lot subdivision. (Articles 1307.03, 1318.01, Table A-2, Footnote 3, 1325.06; required depth-100’, proposed-approx 80’)
Record Lot – 3000 Square Feet RT – Residential Zoning District

2. 2142 Stefko Boulevard
Appeal of James F. Preston, Esquire representing the owner, Scranton Life Realty Company, for a dimensional variance from the maximum allowable floor area for a restaurant business. Also, an interpretation on whether or not the proposed drive up window is a permitted use; in the alternative, a variance is requested. (Articles 1312.02, 1312.02.a.4, 1325.06; Allowable floor area – 2500 square feet, proposed -3000 square feet)

3. 431 W. Third Street
Appeal of Grant Genzlinger for a special exception and a variance to convert a three unit apartment building to a 4 room bed and breakfast. (Articles 1306.02.c.5, 1325.08.i, 1302.06, 1325.07, 1325.06; Allowable number of rooms – 3, proposed – 4)

4. 2102 Glendale Avenue (Rear – 515 Keystone Avenue)
Appeal of Kenneth A. Barber for a special exception to change a lawful non-conforming (formerly Zoning approved) grocery store with take out sandwich use to a grocery store with eat in restaurant. Also, a variance is required from the off street parking requirements. (Articles 1323.07, 1319.01.a.20, 1325.07, 1325.06; Existing parking on the lot – 0, additional required parking with proposed use –3 spaces, required parking with all uses-9, parking credit-6)

5. 1564 Valley Road
Appeal of Rosa Cruz for a dimensional variance from the side yard setback to construct an attached carport to the main dwelling. (Articles 1307.03, 1318.01, 1318.14, Table A-2; required setback – 6’, Proposed – 3’)
Record Lot – 30.50’x 155.12’ Irregular RT – Residential Zoning District
