2. REVIEW OF SIGNAGE AS PER ZONING ORDINANCE

A. LOWE’S HOME CENTERS, INC., 1245 Martin Court – Zoned IR

Article 1317A.06 of the Zoning Ordinance requires the City Planning Commission to review all modifications to the sign regulations for properties in the IR Industrial Redevelopment District. The Lowe’s Home Center is currently being constructed at the former Durkee site. Since the use is commercial, the signage is reviewed under the Ordinance’s commercial district’s Article 1320.09. The proposal under consideration is the free-standing sign.

3. LAND DEVELOPMENT PLANS

A. (06-005LD) – PRELIMINARY/FINAL LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND STREET VACATION REQUEST– GREENLEAF COMMONS, Greenleaf Street – Ward 14, Zoned RS, plans dated March 13, 2006 and last revised June 13, 2006.
Submission Date: March 16, 2006 Expiration Date: July 13, 2006

This plan proposes seven (7) single family attached townhouse dwelling units with one-car garages on a .9884 acre lot.

B. (06-008LD) – PRELIMINARY/FINAL LAND DEVELOPMENT PLAN – BUTZTOWN MANOR – South side of Butztown Road – Ward 14, Zoned RS, plans dated November 1, 2005 and last revised June of 2006.
Submission Date: May 18, 2006 Expiration Date: September 7, 2006


The plans propose the construction of twelve (12) single family attached townhouse dwellings on a 1.7522 acre lot.

C. (06-010LD) –LAND DEVELOPMENT SKETCH PLAN– Broughal Middle School – SE Corner of Brodhead Avenue & W. Morton Street, Plan dated April 10, 2006 and last revised June 16, 2006.
Submission Date: May 25, 2006 Expiration Date: September 7, 2006

The plan proposes the construction of a middle school at the rear of the current school’s lot.
