Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet in the TOWN HALL, 10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, August 25, 2004 at 6:30 P.M., for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.

ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR AT THE MEETING

1. 240 E. Goepp Street
Appeal of Jose and Elisaida Cruz for a dimensional variance from Article 1318.31.b, 1325.06, and Table A-2 to erect a 12’ round swimming pool in the rear yard (relief of side yard setbacks: Required: 6’; Proposed: 2’ on one side).

2. 1349 Lynn Street
Appeal of Santiago Rivera, Equitable Owner, for a Special Exception to change a lawful non-conforming machine shop to a commercial/residential cleaning service and a lawn care company. (Articles 1323.07 and 1325.07).

3. 2200 Avenue A
Appeal of the American Red Cross for a dimensional variance (Article 1325.06) to expand the existing parking lot by an additional 20 parking spaces, which encroaches into the 50’ front setback requirement by 38 feet (Article 1319.01.a.32).

4. 2545 Schoenersville Road
Appeal of Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenburg to receive an interpretation that a proposed “H” sculpture does not constitute a “sign” as defined in Article 1320.02 or, in the alternative, the Applicant requests variances from Articles 1325.06, 1320.07.a, 1320.08.a.3 (more than one free standing sign fronting a street), 1320.07.l and 1320.08.a.14 (size of sign). (Maximum allowable: 40 sq. ft.; proposed: 2,463 sq. ft.).

5. 2525 Easton Avenue
Appeal of Selvaggio Enterprises, Inc. for a dimensional variance from Articles 1318.01, 1318.17 and 1325.06, 1322.04.f.1 and Table A-4 to allow rear decks to exceed the required rear yard setback on Building #3, which consists of seven (7) units. (Required: 25’; Proposed: 20’), and to permit the distance between multi-family dwellings to be less than 25 feet (21 feet proposed).
