Notice is hereby given that the ZONING HEARING BOARD will meet in the TOWN HALL, 10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Wednesday, May 26, 2004 at 7:00 P.M., for the purpose of hearing the following appeals.

    ALL APPLICANTS MUST APPEAR AT THE MEETING

    1. Ravena Street
    Appeal of Veranda Real Estate LP as equitable owners of property owned by Kalmon J. Czopoth, Jr. for a variance from Article 1318.07 and Table A-1, relief of front yard (Lavan St.) and side yard setbacks. Required front yard: 25’, proposed: 10’; required side yard: 6’ one side, proposed: 5’.

    2. 267 Cherokee Street
    Appeal of DJ Properties for a variance from Table A-1, relief of minimum area per dwelling unit. Required: 4, 000 sq. ft.; proposed: 3,962 sq. ft. and a variance from Table A-1, relief of minimum rear yard setback. Required: 30’; proposed: 21’.

    3. 565 W. Lehigh Street
    Appeal of Michael Scharf on behalf of the Lessee Myriad Data Corporation on property owned by 565 Associates. Property is a Planned Unit Development pursuant to Section 1318.24. Applicant is asking for a conditional use variance and relief from Article 1312.02 to allow a software development and sales company to occupy the tenant space.

    4. 408 N. New Street
    Appeal of David and Wendy Littner Thomson for a variance from Article 1318.06(b), relief from traffic site visibility from driveway. Required: 8’; proposed: 3.5’.
    Record Lot – 7,710 sq. ft. R-T Residential District

    5. 957 Minsi Trail Street
    Appeal of Lusiania Bakery on behalf of the owner, Miguel Teixeira for a variance to exceed the maximum building coverage on a lot. (Table A-4: maximum 65%; proposed: 72.1%).
    Record Lot – 11,986.55 sq. ft. L-I Light Industrial

    6. 1301 Linden Street
    Appeal of Mohinder S. Kari on behalf of the owner, Lynn B. Kroft for a Special Exception as outlined in Article 1323.04(c) to alter/expand two non-conforming uses and for a variance from the (E. Elizabeth Ave.) front yard setback requirements to install a new canopy. (Table A-2: required: 20’; proposed: 12’).
    Record Lot – 9,396 sq. ft. R-T Residential District
    All persons interested or those desiring to protest against the allowance thereof may appear and be heard. Plans for above appeals are on file for public inspection in the Zoning Office, 10 East Church Street, Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, during regular business hours, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays.
